Wastewater analyses show peak degrees of Covid-19 in several cities, according to researchers at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, the newspaper Dagens Nyheter reports.
Despite the continued rise in most parts of the country, Sweden’s top epidemiologist, Magnus Gisslén, told Radio Sweden that people are not worried because the risk of serious illness and death is so low.
“I think it’s critical that the current scenario is very different from a few years ago, because population immunity is now much better,” he says.
