Manama: The Mentorship Forum Middle East announced a high-level assembly with the Council for Higher Education (HEC) led by its Secretary General and Vice Chairman of its Board of Directors, H. E. Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa. Held at the headquarters of Benefit Company, the presidents and representatives of higher education institutions (HEI) of the Kingdom of Bahrain participated in the 3rd edition of the Middle East Mentoring Forum.
Held on 6 December 2022 as a hybrid occasion at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, this year’s Forum is being held under the patronage of HH Sh. Hessa Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Member of the Supreme Council of Women and President of INJAZ Bahrain. At the meeting, HEC Secretary General, HE, underlined the importance of cooperation and partnership between HEIs and the personal sector, for career guidance programmes and linking them to schooling and school policies and labour market needs, which would help elevate local HEIs to a higher level. and strengthen its regional and external competitiveness.
He then called on the presidents of the HEIs to join like-minded entities to provide appropriate guidance and direction to fellows in their undergraduate studies, thus contributing to the refinement of their personality and the progression of their clinical and professional skills, as well as expanding their chances of obtaining corresponding jobs. to their superior grades.
