Health District Action Tips to Decrease Viral Transmission and Oppose COVID-19

To decrease the transmission of respiratory diseases and communities of diseases such as COVID-19, CDC has issued new recommendations to improve indoor ventilation and air quality.

The Environmental Protection Agency recognizes that debris from the COVID-19 virus can linger in the air after a user with health concerns leaves the room, remaining airborne for hours. Ventilation methods can prevent them from accumulating inside.

The Blue Ridge Health District has sent advice to its ventilation formula to decrease viral transmission among families, friends and colleagues indoors.
