YEREVAN, JULY 22, ARMENPRESS. A doctor died as a result of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) in Armenia, a spokeswoman for Armenian health minister Alina Nikoghosyan said on Facebook.
“Siranush Harutyunyan, 59, worked at st. Gregory the Illuminator Hospital Polyclinic as a pediatrician, however, she was not concerned about coronavirus remedy activities and was not inflamed in the workplace,” she said.
439 new coronaviruses (COVID-19) have been registered in Armenia in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of samples to 35693, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention said today.
Another 560 patients have recovered. The total number of recoveries reached 24,766.
Another 16 people died in one day, bringing the death toll to 678.
The number of assets is 10,032.
