Home Minister Amit Shah said on Thursday that the BJP, if elected to exercise force in Himachal Pradesh, will soon implement the Uniform Civil Code as it sheds light on the “10 promises” promised by the rival Congress, saying other people accept as true with the promises of those who have reputations while the opposition party does not.
At an election rally in Kangra district on the last day of the campaign, Shah imbued his speech with forums of progress and Hindutva, noting that on that day Maratha King Shivaji killed Afzal Khan in 1659 and raised the saffron flag.
Addressing Congress, he said it’s hard to count the number of scams under his government, while it’s hard for any scams since the BJP entered the Center in 2014.
He accused Congress of being involved in scams that valued Rs 12 lakh crore his 10-year rule in the Centre between 2004 and 2014 and said the other people of Himachal Pradesh will have no confidence in the promises put forward by a party like this.

Shah also accused Congress of playing politics when covid vaccines were released.
