The Ministry of Health has updated access criteria to Guatemala, which establish certain exceptions. Thus, for part of those years they are not required to present a check and if a traveler has “justifiable reason” they can take the check upon arrival at the airport.
The Guatemalan health government has been informed about any cases of the micrometric variant of the coronavirus, whose presence has been demonstrated in other Latin American countries.
Guatemala accumulates more than 624,000 cases of COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic, adding 950 active cases. At least another 16,085 people have been victims of this epidemic, according to official data.
