TOKYO (TR) – More than a dozen people connected to a Katsushika Ward hostess club have tested positive for the new coronavirus, the service revealed.
According to the service, a “group” of infections gave the impression at the New Pub Lisa club, a so-called “Pub Phlippine” located in the Kameari area.
On 29 August, 3 workers and 3 clients tested positive for coronavirus, the cause of COVID-19 disease, and between 20 and 27 August some began to suffer from fever and lack of energy.
As of August 30, another 15 workers were evaluated and on Thursday, another 8 people tested positive.
Depending on the service, the total number of positive tests for other people connected to the club is 15.
Prior to the outbreak, the club boasted a “COVID-19 protection label”, which can be downloaded from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government website.
