Group congratulates governments and Nigerians on fighting COVID-19

The Women and Half Initiative (WAH), a successful women’s organization, praised the efforts of governments and Nigerians to involve the new coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).

Chile’s Udemgba, wah’s driver, praised lake hounds in a statement.

It expressed its joy that Nigeria was among the countries with the lowest instances of COVID-19.

“As society evolves from a paralyzing blockade caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we celebrate Nigeria’s effusive spirit, which has noticed that we all fight this pandemic, and our country has some of the lowest effects in the world,” he said.

Udemgba noted that closure caused many economies and businesses to collapse, hindering progress.

He said the organization was celebrating Nigeria’s efforts on September 5 in Lagos.

She said the occasion will attract pro-strategic and inspiring women from all sectors.

Udemgba said the occasion would only celebrate Nigeria’s collective combat opposed to the pandemic, but would also lead to other successes.

The meeting, she added, would also provide a platform for women to expand their strategies, organize and reposition their lives and businesses and after the lockout.

She noted that women have many vital and critical decision-making positions in public and personal sector institutions.

According to her, human rights activist and social commentator, Ms. Yemisi Ransome-Kuti, and Ms. Rashidat Adebisi, client director of AxaMansard Plc, would be on the occasion with the theme: “Thank you”.

She said Ms. Ini Abimbola, a consultant at Thistle Praxis, will lead the discussions at the long-awaited event.

He hoped that the event, which would have capacity for 50 physical participants, would be a vehicle for team spirit and professional aspirations.

“More than 2,000 more people have shown their online participation and another 5,000 would be achieved through live streams and other social media platforms,” he added.
