FARMINGTON – As COVID-19 continues to have an effect on life in New Mexico, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham has announced safe opportunities for Halloween occasions that other people can enjoy instead of classic hand games, costume parties and enchanted space occasions.
The events, announced in a press release on October 6, come with a virtual dress contest. Children, adults and teams can send photos of themselves in dresses from October 11 to 25 online at www. togethernm. org/halloween. in dresses from October 28 to October 30, and the winners will be announced on Halloween.
People can also get tips on Halloween crafts, as well as Recipes for Halloween Treats, on the TogetherNM website.
“This is a year like no other, as we all know,” Lujan Grisham said in the statement. “We can’t spend time with our friends and neighbors as we wish. But holidays are a time not to forget that we are all in combination in this struggle, even when we are physically separated, and I hope that families in New Mexico can enjoy this Halloween by participating in some of those laughs and events. “
According to the press release, state rules will reflect national rules introduced through the U. S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. But it’s not the first time When it comes to Halloween activities that should be avoided.
