Gov. Kate Brown announced Saturday on Twitter that she and her husband had tested positive for COVID-19 after returning from Vietnam.
“We are recovering at home and while this modifies our Thanksgiving plans, we are grateful for effective vaccines and boosters that help ensure our symptoms do not worsen,” the governor said on Twitter.
Brown attended the Vietnam-U. S. Trade Forum in Ho Chi Minh City. She signed an industry memorandum between Oregon and Vietnam with Vice Minister Do Thang Hai. The agreement aims to promote cooperation around “industry, renewable energy, education and economic development,” Brown said on Twitter.
