One protester criticized the government’s reaction to the pandemic and warned that concern was spreading.
“Is this what we need our youth to learn?That they will have to fear others, that they will have to stay at a distance?Because they think there’s something. There can’t be other people who are afraid to move on to the police or go to the hospital or they can no longer accept how true they are with their passes,” he said.
Last Saturday, nearly 38,000 protesters took part in a demonstration against COVID in the German capital, where at least three hundred other people were arrested.
