A video shows an organization of others in Honduras paid through George Soros to enroll in a caravan of migrants and the typhoon on the U. S. border.
On October 17, 2018, U. S. Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL) posted a video on Twitter and suggested, without evidence, that he would show an organization of others who were paid through billionaire George Soros to enroll in a migrant caravan and typhoon the US Border. U. S. :

This tweet is full of factual inaccuracies and unfounded accusations.
Congressman Matt Gaetz said the clip featured “symbols in Honduras”, but that the video was filmed in Guatemala, where the refugees photographed were covered outdoors in a car shop in Chiquimula. The company’s Facebook page has a symbol of the same signal that can be noticed in the background of the video:
The Facebook page of MiChiquimula, a local site committed to data about Chiquimula, also posted a photo featuring this organization of others who covered the doors of the same buildings on October 16, 2018, the day before Gaetz shared his video:
Gaetz nevertheless relented and admitted that he was wrong about the location of the video:

Representative Gaetz also stated that the video captured from paid women and young people “2 sign up for the caravan and typhoon on the U. S. border” (i. e. , sign up for an organization of Honduran migrants seeking to succeed in the United States). This was also inaccurate.
MiChiquimula’s Facebook page reported that the organization was already heading to the United States when they stopped in the Guatemalan village to board a bus, that is, those other people were not paid to “join” the caravan, because they were already part of that:

But let us not dismiss this statement at first sight just because other accusations opposed to Soros have proved unfounded.

From what the locals told him, the money was collected through the merchants; however, migrants who were already in the caravan (probably to simply buy supplies) were handed over, not to other people to sign up [in the caravan].
