Curative will also provide COVID-19 testing to those interested, the county announcement says.
With Curative running the new mega site, the county’s fitness branch will host pop-up vaccination events in a smaller network.
Curative said in a news release that it would provide up to 1,200 vaccines consistent with the day to citizens and schedule appointments and walk-ins.
No insurance is required and there will be no outlays, deductibles or copays for the patient. Insurance will be charged if available, the company said.
“Extending into evening hours and weekend days, our partnership with Curative provides convenient and simple access for everyone. This is especially vital as the age of vaccination extends to everyone over the age of 12,” said Dr. Anna Stuart. Pamela Hackert, county medical health officer, at the Curative’s announcement.
Countywide, 43. 3 percent of citizens 16 and older got a first dose of the vaccine and 29. 8 percent of that population was fully vaccinated, according to the Department of Health’s website.
