ASTANA. KAZINFORM “Gas production decreased in Kazakhstan in 2022 due to a decrease in oil production,” Kazakhstan’s Energy Minister Bolat Akchulakov told a news conference.
As indicated here in 2022, fuel production is expected to reach 51. 7 billion m3 or 96. 1% by 2021. It is expected to produce 53. 5 billion m3 of fuel by 2023. Fuel production in 2022 is expected to reach 27. 6 billion m3 or 93. 9% from last year. Next year, it is expected to produce 28. 2 billion cubic meters of advertising fuel.
Liquefied petroleum fuel production in 2022 is expected to reach 2. 82 million tonnes, or 89. 2% through 2021.
The minister said the lack of investment given sales at a loss has led to a drop in liquefied petroleum gas production. The plan for 2022 is 2. 86 million tonnes.
In addition, from 2022 the volume of petrochemicals is expected to reach 256,000 tons, 34. 7% more than in 2021. Next year it is expected to produce 515,000 tons of petrochemicals.
