Galvez said this after Vice President Leni Robredo responded to president Rodrigo Duterte’s taunts, saying that combat opposing the fitness crisis is not limited to dressing in a mask and waiting for a vaccine.
(Our challenge is very dynamic. We cannot expect the behavior of the pandemic because all of us, the country at large and even the world, are suffering to respond to COVID-19).
Galvez said there were several “variables” in crisis management, adding “discipline” and public compliance with the fitness criteria established to reduce the spread of infectious respiratory diseases.
“Marami po talagang nagviviolate kahit sinong country po ang magkaroon ng ganito po ay talagang mahihirapan tayo lalo na ‘yung mung dense people are Hindi tayo makapag-ng social estviation,” he said.
(Many violate fitness standards, any country will have problems, especially in our densely populated areas, we cannot practice social estating. )
The former army leader spoke of the inability of the country’s fitness formula to respond to the pandemic.
“Kahit but pong president, kahit but pong leader and kahit sino po ang secretary mahihirapan po dahil hindi maka-ga-toing mga structures in (health) doon as kinakailangan ng COVID-19,” Gálvez said.
He then asked the Vice President to take a look at the floor before commenting on the government’s reaction to COVID-19.
“Marami po tayong deficiencies, unang unng un po kulang talaga tayo ng nurses saka doctors based on knowledge that meets the WHO standard”. Yun pong kakulangan na “yun is a genuine negative effect on the presentation of COVID-19,” Galvez said.
(We have many gaps, first of all we lack nurses and doctors based on the knowledge provided to us by WHO, this gap is one of the disorders that have affected our control of COVID-19).
“Napakarami warns of shortcomings, we will have to settle for na hindi po talaga tayo nakapaghanda. Our formula is not ready, no hindi po talaga country nakapagprepare. During the era of magagalization in the Mayayamang countries, they could not cope with the accumulating in cases “he added.
(We have so many gaps, we have to settle for that we are not prepared, our formula is not prepared, no country is prepared and we see that the toughest and richest countries have not been able to build cases. )
Infectious respiratory disease, first detected in China’s backward Hubei province last year, has so far inflamed more than 31 million people worldwide.
In the Philippines, the total number of COVID-19 cases reached 291,789 on Tuesday, 230,643 cures and 5,049 deaths.
