A series of monthly contests will show the network of young artists and athletes who do more because they spend less time on their phones.
Gabb Wireless’s interactive gabb Life young launches a six-month contest to inspire young people to live beyond the screen. The first in the series is a contest to create T-shirts, where other young people can earn money, mobile phones, products. and a non-public art lesson by young artist Tyler Gordon, who is nationally famous. The winner’s T-shirt design will be added to the Gabb Life clothing line.
Participants can submit T-shirt designs from October 19-29. Visitors to the Gabb Life site and Gabb logo ambassadors will be the winners in two rounds. More main points and presentation form are here.
After this competition, Gabb Life will organize skating, surfing, skiing/snowboarding and music competitions. Each month, a child will win $500 and a laugh with one of the young athletes/artists who have Gabb logo ambassadors. This month the demanding situations lead to the grand final of the “Get Discovered” contest, where a lucky child will be the next ambassador of the Gabb logo, earn $10,000 and appear on a billboard in his hometown.
Tyler Gordon, 14, is looking to share his talent with another young artist. He recently won the 2020 Global Child Prodigy Award. Celebrities and athletes such as Kevin Durant, Jennifer Lopez and others asked him to do his portraits, a feat given that he was born deaf and had to triumph over a stutter at age 6 after the surgery left him a partial audition.
“Art has replaced my life and I hope to motivate other young people to realize their creativity so that they can use them as I was brought up,” Gordon said. “Children can do much more if they don’t just spend time on their phone, computer or TV. I can’t wait to see all your T-shirt designs. “
The Gabb Life T-shirt contest is open to anyone 17 years of age or younger. Young artists can use paintings, pens, virtual media or any other artistic medium. The design comes with the words “Gabb Life” and shows why other young people “live beyond the screen”.
