ATLANTA, GA – The Georgia Department of Public Health reported a total of 277,288 cases of COVID-19 at 2:50 p.m.Thursday.According to the fitness department’s website, 2,733 new cases have been shown in the last 24 hours.
Georgia has also reported 5868 deaths to date after COVID-19, with 75 more deaths recorded in the following 24 hours.In addition, the state reported 25,259 hospitalizations, 234 more than the following day, and 4,628 admissions to extended care sets to date.
No data are available in Georgia on the number of patients cured.
Counties on or near the Atlanta Metro continue to have the number of positives, with Fulton County still at the forefront.
Fulton County: 25339 – 189 new

DeKalb County: 16837 – 121 new
Hall County: 7,946 instances – new
Counties in or near the Atlanta Metro also continue to have the highest death toll by COVID-19.The only exception is Dougherty County, from Georgia’s first primary outbreak.

On Thursday, Georgia administered more than 2.6 million COVID-19 tests, of which approximately 10.4% are the least used to find antibodies.
For the maximum reliability control of the virus itself, 10.5% of the controls yielded positive results; for less reliable antibody control, 7.7% yielded positive results.
