A mysterious model, or really five models, will go into production in Turkey in 2025. The company did this on March 1 (2023):
“Stellantis will award production of the ‘K0’ style to Tofaş, in a mid-size passenger car and soft advertising vehicle version, planned for five brands with a target production launch from early 2025. “
Current production of Doblo is expected to continue until paints begin on the “K0” style production lines in July (2023).
Pending additional information, the five brands would be Fiat, Citroën, Peugeot, Opel and Vauxhall, Fiat Professional or Ram.
Company President John Elkann and the group’s leading executive, Carlos Tavares, told local officials at an assembly in late March 2022 that a successor to the electric 500 would be remanufactured at the historic Mirafiori plant in Turin. Although neither has indicated when the car will be launched, it could arrive between 2027 and 2030.
While theoretically a new 500X arrived in 2022, under Stellantis this styling program has been redesigned, redesigned and rolled back. This vehicle will also upgrade the 500L. The architecture is STLA Small, which means there may also be an EV.
FCA reportedly informed suppliers that it intended to remodel its Tychy plant in Poland for the production of cars based on Dongfeng Motor and Groupe PSA’s CMP/eCMP architecture (revamped and renamed STLA Small). The successor to the 500X is possibly one of those models.
The small SUV will be sold in the United States, Fiat logo CEO Olivier Francois said at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2022.
Stellantis will revive the Fiat flagship six hundred later in 2023 when it launches a small crossover. The five-door style is expected to be supplied with electric and IC powertrains. circular headlight accessories with “tabs” and what can be simply “cheeks” (DRL) under the lighting fixtures, as well as a “smiling” grille.
It’s unclear whether this style complements or replaces the 500X. There have also been statements about the brand’s return to the B sedan segment of the European market with a revival of the Punto name: this assignment may have been cancelled or incorporated into the six hundred. An explanation is awaited. The six hundred is idea to share a lot with the Jeep Avenger.
The replacement for the Egea/Tipo will be a crossover, Fiat boss Olivier Francois said in a January (2023) interview. This style will appear until 2025, he added. Two months later, the company announced that Egea/Tipo would remain in production until the end of 2025.
Off-road
The next Renegade, the replacement of an earlier style of the same call, was expected for the 2023 style year in North America, but that didn’t happen.
An evolution of the existing SUSW platform was intended to be an original plan, but it is possible that the architecture has been changed to STLA Small. Therefore, there will be an EV variant for Europe but not for North America.
In April 2021, Carlos Tavares named 4 platforms that would be used globally: STLA Small, STLA Medium, STLA Large and STLA Frame.
An update on Renegade’s assignment is expected. The potential upgrade of the platform (and factories) will likely delay the arrival of the new style until late 2023 or 2024.
The successor to the KM Cherokee series was originally scheduled to arrive in 2021, but there have been several delays in the launch of this model. The architecture will have to be STLA Medium. This is derived from front-wheel drive and EMP2 all-wheel drive. of the former Groupe PSA. This also means that there will be an electrified derivative for the first time in the model’s history.
It’s possible that the call of fashion will change, following a senior leader of the Cherokee Nation, Chuck Hoskin Jr. He told Stellantis it was time for sports groups and other businesses to stop using Native American calls.
It has been reported that Jeep may move to U. S. national parks. U. S. like Yellowstone, Yosemite, etc.
As for the production plant, it’s probably not where the KL Cherokee series was made, with Stellantis declaring on December 9, 2022 that it would idle Belvidere indefinitely on February 28. The plant went offline on that date. The company has not yet said what will happen to the Illinois plant.
The Recon, whose symbol was revealed on a special occasion in September 2022, will be an electric four× four. It will have removable doors. Production may take over at the remodeled plant in Brampton, Ontario.
Lancia
While the existing style dates back to 2011, the successor to the Ypsilon won’t arrive until 2024. This will be the first of 3 new Lancias.
The production of this A-segment sedan can only be done in Spain (Figueuelas in the province of Zaragoza) than in Poland (Tichy) where the existing style is manufactured.
Stellantis said last May that in addition to Italy, the new car will be available in Spain, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Portugal.
There will also be a C-segment sedan (expected to revive the Delta name) and a D-segment (Gamma) crossover that would be codenamed L74. The last of those 3 percent much, adding a production line, with the electric crossovers DS and Opel/Vauxhall.
The brand’s 4. 6-meter-long “new flagship” is expected to arrive in 2026, according to a recent press release. Also, just 3 months ago, Stellantis issued a press release confirming that Delta would launch in 2028.
The so-called Gamma was announced via Lancia CEO Luca Napolitano, unveiling the HPE Pu Ra concept in April. They deserve to be variants with a single front-wheel drive engine and two all-wheel drive motors, the latter will be called Integrale.
Maserati
With more than seven years, Levante will not have a successor until 2024. It was expected to be powered by petrol and as an electric vehicle, but in March 2022, Maserati won a confusing message related to its upcoming ICE vehicles. It can right now be that only the EV is launched.
Stellantis told the media in July 2021 that the STLA Large architecture would target monocoque cars with a duration between 4. 7 and 5. 4 m, with widths of 1. 9 to 2. 3 meters. A new Levante would therefore deserve to use this platform. And according to the continuation of the brand’s largest sedan, production will remain in Italy. The company didn’t understand why STLA Large models have to be so broad.
The seventh-generation Quattroporte will arrive in “2023/2024” and will be offered as a three-motor electric vehicle, Maserati said in September 2020 at the MC20’s media premiere. Two of the motors will be on the rear axle. All electric Maserati will be called Folgore, which means lightning/lightning strike in Italian.
Production of this style can be only in Mirafiori than in the nearby Grugliasco plant where the sixth generation is built. However, in March, the company said another Italian plant, Cassino, would produce Maserati and Alfa Romeo cars with giants. Architecture STLA. No the styles in consultation or their release times have been announced.
When asked in February, Maserati CEO Davide Grasso said the Quattroporte would be electric-only and would launch in early 2025. If this were true, the logo could call the car only Quattroporte and not Quattroporte Folgore.
Opel and Opel
A facelift for the Corsa, new in the last quarter of 2019, announced on May 24, as well as mild hybrid powertrains. At the same time, the e-Corsa replaced its call to Corsa Electric and was given an additional battery motor option. Opel also ditched the diesel engine, and Vauxhall did so in April 2022.
When it comes time for the next-generation Corsa (late 2026), the EV will have a successor.
Another B-segment styling, the Crossland crossover replacement, will be electric-only and the STLA Small architecture. The style call has not yet been confirmed.
Opel and Vauxhall said in March 2022 that there would be electric-only successors to their versions of the Insignia. The type of chassis or frame has not been indicated, nor has the style call been announced. Possibly those cars will evolve into an SUV about 4. 7 to 4. 9 m long, located above the Manta, which would be 4. 5 m long (see below).
The suppliers revealed that production of this style (code: OV85) will be done alongside the related Lancia and DS styles at Stellantis’ SATA (Melfi) plant in Italy. Construction of the series is expected to begin in November 2024.
Vauxhall’s Insignia was scrapped in May 2022, casting doubt on plans for an imaginable replacement of the same name.
The Manta, whose first highlights were announced in July 2021, similar in length to Opel and Vauxhall’s successor to the Grandland, is expected to be a separate model. It deserves to be an all-electric five-door crossover coupe in the taste of the Volvo C40. This is part of the abandonment of ICE car brands in Europe until 2028.
Stellantis told the media in March 2023 that the Grandland replacement would be manufactured at its Eisenach plant from 2024. For now, it is not known where the Manta will be built.
Peugeot
Electric versions of the 308 and 308 SW will arrive later in 2023, joining the two 308 plug-in hybrids. A Stellantis-Nidec-Leroy Sommer Holding joint venture called eMotors will carry the 115 kW “M3” engine. The maximum diversity will be 400 km. As for the 54 kWh battery, its chemistry is indicated as 80% nickel, 10% manganese and 10% cobalt.
Unlike the 308, the electric editions are expected to be in the renamed and redesigned edition of a Groupe PSA platform that was originally called eVMP (now STLA Medium).
Three years ago this month, when the COVID-19 crisis destroyed the car market across Europe, the French state announced a series of measures to help Groupe PSA and Groupe Renault. One of PSA’s resulting announcements that “. . . a new generation of electrified vehicles The platform will be industrialised at the Sochaux site until 2022 to manufacture the long-lasting generation of the Peugeot 3008. “
Since then, Sochaux has the leading automotive plant employing STLA Medium (formerly called eVMP for Electric Vehicle Modular Platform). This in itself is an evolution of EMP2, which began life as an architecture for models such as the first-generation Peugeot 308 and 3008. It has been adapted for gasoline-electric plug-in hybrids and in STLA Medium form, for fully electric models such as the e-3008.
The 3008 will be released in September. In addition to the timing, Peugeot has shown that the e-3008 will be supplied with the 115kW M3 engine. The maximum WLTP diversity shall be greater than 400 km.
Meanwhile, the arrival of the next 5008 will delay the arrival of the equivalent 3008 for up to a month, as was the case with existing versions. The big rear difference will be five and seven seats. There will also be an electric 5008 called the e-5008.
The 408, a 4,690 mm long five-door coupe-crossover for the Renault Arkana and in many tactics connected to the Citroën C5 X, presented in June 2022. The first cars were in customers’ homes in early 2023. Production is in either France (Mulhouse) and China (Chengdu). In the latter market, where production began in February, the structure is part of a JV with Dongfeng Motor.
There are two plug-in hybrids, as well as a 96 kW (130 hp) 1. 2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, with automatic transmission for each. Later in 2023, an e-408 will be added.
The first two generations of 408 were sedans intended only for certain markets. In fact, there has been a sedan in China based on the 308 called the 408 for many years, the existing one being created there in 2014. It was renewed for a moment in June. 2022. As this 408 is still available in China, the five-door coupe-crossover is called 408X in that country.
RAM
A Ram monocoque pickup truck located above the 1000 arrives in South American markets. It could be called simply Rampage or 1200. Se popular engine expected to be a 2. 0-liter turbo: Stellantis’ Hurricane four engine named in an official preview video earlier in May.
Stellantis’ upcoming chassis architecture supports electrification, which is not unusual with the other 3 architectures the company will have for its core models. The company shared a silhouette of an electric Ram 1500 with the media in July 2021. The STLA frame (pronounced “Stella”) will be the platform of this model.
A new prototype debuted at the New York Auto Show in April with more highlights about the next new production vehicle for 2025. Two batteries have been announced (see symbol legend), with their expected maximum levels of 350 miles and 500 miles, respectively. The extremely gigantic capabilities of these fuselage packages make the 1500 REV particularly heavy.
The Ram division claimed a towing capacity of up to 14,000 lbs and a payload of up to 2,700 pounds. There will also be an EREV, this one called 1500 REV XR (extended range). Trim grades will have to be Tradesman, Big Horn/Lone Star, Laramie, Limited and Tungsten.
REV and REV XR are supposed to be introduced a year before the next-generation ICE-powered Ram 1500 variants. radical for the segment. Alternatively, the EV and EREV can really have a bespoke body, adding a heavily sloping windshield/windshield.
cart
Since it will be much smaller, use another architecture, and have a different frame to the existing Wagoneer, Stellantis’ resolution to announce the casual call of a long-lasting EV like the Wagoneer S is odd.
It was made as part of a presentation in September 2022 with a symbol of the vehicle that was also leaked to the media. It’s also unclear if the company’s policy of not employing the Jeep logo for Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer also applies to the “Wagoneer. “S”.
In November 2022, Stellantis sought to generate exposure for midsize styling by launching a contest to call the vehicle. Production could begin at the renovated plant in Brampton, Ontario, starting in 2025.
Future styling reports previously released in 2023 include Honda (ICE plus electric vehicles and Acura styles), General Motors (Buick and Cadillac plus Chevrolet and GMC), Ford (ICE styles and electric vehicles) and TMC (Toyota and Lexus ICE plus electrified styles). ). Nissan Motor comes next (June).
