Does Kellogg Executive Education offer face-to-face systems at the Evanston campus lately?
In 2021, most of our systems will be positioned in live virtual format. This resolution was made to comply with region-specific fitness rules and provide maximum flexibility and access to our community members. Regardless of the format, we are committed to providing exceptional fun for participants in all of our current education systems. See our Online Virtual Programs page for more details.
What measures are being taken to mitigate the threat of spread of COVID-19 and for the health and protection of the Kellogg, Northwestern, and Evanston communities?
Precautions and protocols have been implemented to ensure the fitness and protection of the Kellogg community. These protocols include social and physical distancing, masks, enhanced cleaning in all our spaces, a testing strategy for symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals, procedures for positive cases, and tactile tracing. How do I know which most productive program(s) fit my career progression needs?
Kellogg Executive Education provides short, untitled systems (3 to 5 days) that provide detailed information on a specific topic, as well as more extensive general control systems (3 to 4 weeks) that provide broader exposure to control and leadership skills and tools. Do I win in Executive Education programs?
Executive Education only provides untitled systems and the player obtains a final touch certificate upon completion of the program. This certificate does not count as credits toward a degree. Participants who earn a Kellogg Executive Scholar certificate or a full certificate from our general control earn Kellogg Executive Education alumni status upon completion of their program.
Who teaches in Kellogg’s Executive Education programs?
Participants in Kellogg’s executive education systems gain advantages from exposure at our world-renowned faculty. These dynamically thought leaders bring the most recent findings from their own studies as well as the theory of their respective disciplines into the classroom. Does Kellogg offer remote learning options?
Currently, all of our executive education systems require on-campus residency. Kellogg’s emphasis on teamwork and hands-on learning is unheard of in any setting and would be difficult to reflect in a style based on distance learning. The unique dynamic that is created between classmates in our systems is a key component of the overall fun and price of time here at Kellogg. Kellogg continues to explore other learning styles as generation and content evolve.
Where are the systems located?

What is the Kellogg Executive Academic Certificate?
The Kellogg Executive Scholar certificate provides a convenient, flexible yet academically rigorous way to your expressed career progression goals by completing 4 virtual executive systems in-user or live over a five-year period. Please note that our online asynchronous systems do not apply to an academic. certificate. At the end, participants earn a certificate of progress in one of the many fields and gain the added benefits of being a Kellogg Executive Education alumnus.
I don’t live in the United States. . . What type of visa do I need?
Participants in our non-degree executive education systems are not eligible for student visas. Participants who require a visa should contact a U. S. embassy or consulate. You will be a U. S. citizen in your domain to apply for a business visa (B-1). Consult our VISA advisor for more information.
Will I want fitness insurance?
Participants are expected to have valid U. S. fitness insurance. U. S. service for the duration of the program. Northwestern University is not at fault for medical expenses incurred through program participants.
Are there any language requirements?
All lectures, debates and exercises of small organizations are conducted in English. Because collaboration is the cornerstone of the Kellogg experience, all participants must be talented in spoken and written English. The TOEFL test is not required.

How do I register/apply for a program on behalf of someone else?
For our 3-5 day programs, administrative and HR professionals can log in or submit an application on behalf of the participant.
If you have access to the manager’s email to get the online account password, we apply online. The Kellogg Executive Education account will need to be created with the executive’s call and email address. If you do not have access to the executive’s email, we suggest you use the PDF application form found on each program’s web page.
Our general control systems and many of our 3-5 day systems require approval from the director of education. Due to those stricter admission criteria, applicants will need to complete the application independently.

When do I submit my registration or application?
We suggest that you submit at least 30 days before the program start date. Our systems require significant pre-preparation and some of our most popular systems fill up quickly. For our longer general control systems, 2-3 months in advance can be useful to allow the player to plan for extended time away from the workplace as well as travel.
What is the deadline?
For systems with fast enrollment requirements, please allow up to 10 business days to receive notification of admission. Registrations for the Open Enrollment Program are processed within 2 business days of receipt. Registrations or programs that are not submitted online may take another day. or two.
Is my employer’s sponsorship mandatory?
Participants must be available on campus and relieved of their duties for the duration of the program. No financial sponsorship is required.
When does it expire?
The record is not displayed until full payment is received. Payment may accompany the request or an invoice may be requested. Full payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date. If the player registers within 30 days of the program, start date, full payment is due immediately.

Can I pay online?
Online payment via credit card is permitted at the time of enrollment, unless the program has admission requirements, special pricing, or is full.
Are there fees for Northwestern and Kellogg alumni?
Yes, the elders of the Northwest; Kellogg alumni, in addition to former full-time MBAs, evening and weekend MBAs, Executive MBAs and Executive Education are eligible to earn 15% in all Executive Education Level C online systems and 30% in all other Executive Education Open Enrollment Programs. What’s in the program fee?
Program rates include equipment, program hotels*, maximum meals, coffee breaks and all receptions. Participants may be guilty of dining on loose nights.
*For systems held in Wieboldt Hall, participants are self-accommodated.
What are my characteristics if I cannot participate in a program in which I am enrolled?
Since participation in a Kellogg Executive Education program requires significant prior preparation and exceeds capacity, it is vital that you contact us immediately if you wish to cancel or postpone your participation.
Participants may name a suitable exchange or attend a long-term consultation of the same program within the year. If the query to which the move is transferred reports an increase in tuition fees, the player must pay the balance of the fee. .
Please note that we only allow one program transfer. If you participate in the program to which you refer, you can send a colleague in your position or you would lose the payment of the program. If you request a refund, please see our cancellation policy below. .
Cancellation Policy
To obtain a full refund, cancellation must be made more than 30 days prior to the original program start date. Cancellations won less than 30 days in advance are not eligible for a refund, but could possibly be eligible to reschedule for a later session.
Northwestern University reserves the right to cancel a program at any time and for any reason. In the unlikely event that a program is canceled, the paid program payment will be refunded, but the university is not at fault for any other similar expenses incurred through the program applicant. .

Once your registration is confirmed, you will need to contact your program administrator if you have any questions regarding your registration.
Where will I stay?
Unless otherwise stated, accommodation is included from the first day of the program until the last day of the program. Rooms are automatically reserved for program participants as described below:
Can I schedule myself to arrive the day before the program starts?

Are hotels available for family circle members?
Accommodations at the Allen Center are available to program participants only. Due to the strict fancy schedule, do not invite your circle of relatives to enroll on campus.
What amenities are there to have at Allen Center?
The Allen Center is an exclusive living learning center. Facilities feature personal rooms with a queen size bed and personal bathroom, dining areas, exam organization rooms, laundry and housework, an exercise room, newspapers, and 24-hour reception. There is loose Wi-Fi in the construction and TVs in non-unusual areas.
What recreational services can be had at the Evanston campus?
The Allen Center has a weight room and sauna that you can use at any time. Kellogg Executive Education participants on the Evanston campus have guest privileges at the university libraries, the 140,000-square-foot Henry Crown Sports Hall and the Lester J. Norris, the university beach and miles of jogging tracks along the lake.
Are food included?
Program fees for our systems include maximum meals, coffee breaks, and all receptions. Participants may be guilty of dining on loose nights.
What if I have nutritional needs?
Vegetarian characteristics must be taken into account in all meals and breaks in our programs. Contact your program administrator if you have express questions about your nutritional needs.
Will I have to Internet?
Yes, free web access is available at all campus locations. For more information, make a stopover on our technical page.
Will I do readings before the program starts?
Approximately 2 to 4 weeks before the program start date, you will need to visit a course website. This site will include pre-read materials and logistical data to help you prepare for your stay at Kellogg.
What do I want to bring to be ready?
Bring all initial readings with you and add published copies of all case studies. Special electronic devices, such as laptops and tablets, are needed, but can be used to take is if desired.
What does a typical schedule look like?
Class sessions last 1h30. A category day starts at 8:30 am with two sessions in the morning, a lunch break and 3 sessions in the afternoon. Some systems also have night categories that end at 21:00. Possibly there would also be optional programming that you can attend.

What is the dress?
Business casual clothing is suitable for all executive education programs. We suggest that it be layered to account for temperature differences in study rooms and in non-unusual areas.
Evanston Campus – What transportation is there to have from the airport?
We strongly encourage participants to take a taxi or limousine to get to campus. We are located about forty-five minutes from O’Hare International Airport and 1 hour from Midway Airport by taxi. Your online course page includes a list of taxi companies that offer a discounted rate from the Allen Center. Although it is conceivable to take a public transport from the airport to our campus, we do not propose confusing transfers or long wait times.
Where can I make itineraries?
Due to ongoing paintings of structures on campus, please use the map provided. A GPS device may not be accurate. For 24/7 assistance, please contact our contact desk at 847-864-9270. They will gladly advise you at the Allen Center.
Is parking available on campus?
We strongly encourage participants to take a taxi or limousine to get to campus. If you have to drive, you can find remote parking on the Evanston campus. Download a guest parking permit from the front desk staff upon arrival.
How can I get in touch with other participants?
All Executive Education participants will obtain a list of participants for consultation upon arrival on campus. After the program, we encourage participants to enroll in our Kellogg Executive Education LinkedIn group.
