PARIS (Reuters) – France’s reaction to a resurgence of the COVID-19 virus in the country will have to be provided, President Emmanuel Macron said Friday, as the country struggles to involve the virus while ensuring the continuity of economic and social activities.
“Therefore, we will have to be lucid, very transparent, not easy but at the same time proportionate,” Macron told reporters outside of a briefing on aid projects for French heritage sites.
France has the seventh number of COVID-19 deaths in the world, with more than 31,000 deaths (https://tmsnrt. rs/3aIRuz7).
