The good news is that for the British, they are no longer subject to compulsory quarantine upon arrival in France and travellers do not have to realize that it is essential.
The FCO states: “Travellers arriving in France from the United Kingdom, the European Zone, Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, Rwanda, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia and Uruguay are no longer required to self-isolate, to prove that their adventure is essential or to have a foreign certificate.”
Similarly, France is still indexed on all UK salon lists, meaning tourists no longer have to isolate themselves on their return.
However, the prime minister presses that the government would not hesitate to withdraw countries where the degrees of coronavirus are increasing.
“I’m afraid I’m starting to see symptoms of a pandemic wave in some places,” he warned.
This point was shown over the weekend when the FCO re-imposed restrictions in Spain and updated its notice.
Tourists returning from Spain will now have to enter a 14-day quarantine era at home.
The FCO advises the 12th position on non-essential for the country.
An update on the online page reads: “As of July 27, the FCO advises 12th place on non-essentials for Spain, adding the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands, based on the COVID-19 threat assessment existing in the country.
“These councils are evidence of an accumulation of COVID-19 cases in several regions, even in Aragon, Navarra and Catalonia (which come with the towns of Zaragoza, Pamplona and Barcelona).
“The FCO does not advise those who are already traveling to Spain to leave at this time.
“Travellers deserve to stick to the local government’s recommendation on the most productive way to protect themselves and others, adding the measures they introduce against the virus.
“If you return from Spain, you will want to isolate yourself on your return to the UK, but the FCO does not advise you to shorten your visit. If you have any questions about your return, tap your tour operator or airline. Trip. »
