France reports on a new spike after COVID-19 case blocking

PARIS, August 13 (Reuters) – France’s Ministry of Fitness reported on Thursday 2,669 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, setting a new record after the blockage for the time being in a row and bringing the country’s cumulative total of cases to 209365.

The seven-day moving average of new infections, which corresponds to the average weekly information reporting irregularities, has risen to 1,962, a total that has doubled in the last two weeks and is in degrees that are not noticeable from beyond April.
