PARIS – France recorded on Sunday 11,123 new cases of coronavirus, above the symbolic threshold of 10,000 but below the record of 16096 set earlier this week.
The total number of cases is now 538,569, according to data from the Ministry of Health. The number of other people who died as a result of the infection increased from 27 to 31,727 (report via Matthias Blamont; edited through Alison Williams).
