France: new coVID-19 instances at the peak of one month per day in a row

PARIS, July 30 (Reuters) – The French fitness government reported on Wednesday 1377 more cases of the new coronavirus, in 186573, raising the 7-day moving average above the 1000 threshold for the first time since the first part of May, when France facilitated its blockade.

In a statement, the government said 381 other people were in intensive care facilities because of the disease, the first time the number increased by 16 weeks.

There were 16 new deaths from the disease, bringing the total to 30,254, higher than the seven-day 10-day moving average. (Report through Benoit Van Overstraeten; edited through Diane Craft)
