Faced with the accumulation of COVID-19 cases in the French capital and the saturation of medical laboratories guilty of wearing down PCR tests, the Paris City Council and the Regional Health Agency deployed on Monday a network of loose screening centres.
Dozens of Parisians covered one of the many COVID-19 transitional control centers outside the city corridor to take a nasal sample outdoors.
“It is not enough to be detected, then you have to have the effects, then it is obvious that laboratories have the ability to supply the effects quickly. As you know, they are dedicated to offering them in 24 hours.pascale Bourrat- Housni, deputy director of social action, youth and fitness [DASES] of the Paris City Council.
It is also the practicality of the control facilities.”It’s on the road so other people can just prevent and check for review. It is also very practical from a fitness point of view because, unlike a closed area, there is less threat of contamination.”
In addition to the 3 constant sites, two mobiles will move from one community to another every half day.
The centres, permanent or mobile, are available by appointment and prescription to all Parisians, including social security.
French health minister Olivier Veran said he would run a million tests a week.
To date, France has reported 315,813 cases of coronavirus and 30,611 virus-related deaths, as demonstrated by knowledge compiled through Johns Hopkins University.
