Former Chinese CDC leader says there is ‘no evidence’ coronavirus came from animals

The World Health Organization said all hypotheses about the origins of COVID-19 remain on the table, adding that the virus is connected to a high-security laboratory for the detection of harmful pathogens in Wuhan.

Several government agencies in the United States, the FBI, have concluded that the laboratory leak theory is the “most likely” origin of the virus.

China, which has been criticized for its reluctance to data percentage and investigate the origin of the virus, has rejected the theory of laboratory leakage.

Last month, a Chinese official rejected the FBI’s conclusion that the lab leak theory is the most likely cause.

“‘A laboratory origin of the pandemic that is considered incredibly unlikely’ is an authoritative clinical conclusion reached through experts from the WHO-China joint project after visits to the Wuhan laboratory and extensive communication with researchers,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning said.

Fox News’ most recent national poll found that 62% of Americans COVID-19 were created through scientists in China, while 33% evolved from nature. This is almost equal to the number of prospects two years ago (60% to 31%).

About four-in-ten say the White House is open and transparent about the origins of the virus, but a 54 percent majority of management is covering it up, adding a majority of Republicans, more than a portion of independents and a quarter of Democrats.
