EREVAN, AUGUST 3, ARMENPRESS. Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with the new representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Armenia, Jihane Tawilah, on the occasion of the presentation of credentials.
FM Mirzoyan praised WHO’s activities in Armenia and thanked the organization for its reaction to COVID-19 and for overcoming the consequences of the pandemic, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release.
Views were exchanged on the ongoing physical health reforms in Armenia and on cooperation with WHO in this regard. care.
During the meeting, FM Mirzoyan also introduced Jihane Tawilah to the demanding humanitarian situations during the 44-day war, namely the importance attached to the participation of foreign organizations specialized in solving health problems.
