Foreign arrivals to Indonesia in June fell 88.8% year-on-year: Bureau of Statistics

YAKARTA (Reuters) – Arrivals of foreign visitors to Indonesia in June fell 88.8% from the previous year to 160,300, as the coronavirus pandemic was interrupted worldwide, Monday showed knowledge of the workplace of statistics.

By comparison, arrivals in May 163,646 people.

The statistics workplace said there had been an increase in arrivals in the capital, Jakarta, in June since May, but the figure “is far from the general levels,” while the country’s other major destination, Bali’s beach island, is still closed to foreigners.
