Kapil explained that this popularity is the result of 15 years of hard work. “The good luck of the exhibition didn’t happen overnight. I honed my skills and gained enough experience to know what would work. My display is popular because it doesn’t have humor, which is the simplest thing to do. People consider it sincere with us to come up with transparent jokes that appeal to a familiar audience without causing embarrassment. The audience is interested in our jokes and my team. he works very hard to create quality content every week,” he told The Hindustan Times in a 2015 interview.

His role in Nandita Das’ Zwigato was, in a way, a complete replacement for his celebrity and symbol as a funny guy on TV. In the film, Kapil plays a food delivery boy, who takes on this new task after squandering his task as a dirt boy in a factory. The Hindustan Times magazine praised Kapil’s functionality as a food delivery man. It said, “Sharma, like Manas, is as serious and convincing as he seems. It’s a chameleon-like transformation in terms of frame language, attitude and, most importantly, discussion without the same old Punjabi touch. Kudos to Sharma for doing well. “
