South Carolina officials held a massive pool party this weekend at which many other people left without a mask and there was no attempt at social estrangement, the local NBC News associate reported.The party held at the Palmetto Compress apartment complex in Columbia, the state capital.not far from the University of South Carolina.”It’s the best typhoon if anyone has the virus to spread,” Columbia Fire Chief Aubrey Jenkins said.South Carolina has reported more than 118,000 cases since the onset of the pandemic, adding more than 2,700 deaths.
“Flying the Friendly Skies” just got a little cheaper.United Airlines said it complied with requests from disgruntled consumers and abandoned an unpopular $200 payment for the maximum of others replacing tickets to the United States.The move comes as United and other airlines are desperately looking for others to fly again despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.Air in the United States has recovered modestly since April, however passenger traffic is still 70% lower than a year ago.And airlines don’t allow anyone to fly if they don’t wear a mask.
