DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) – The first known direct advertising flight between Israel and Bahrain landed Wednesday in the island kingdom, a week after the signing of an agreement in the United Arab Emirates to normalize relations.
Knowledge of the flight showed that an Israeli airline Airbus A320 landed at Bahrain International Airport after a flight of approximately three hours from Tel Aviv Ben-Gurion International Airport. Hours later, Bahrain stated that the flight carried a delegation of Israeli officials.
“A team of Israeli state corridors visited Manama to discuss spaces for cooperation between the two countries,” Bahrain said in a brief statement. “These talks take place after the signing of the Declaration of Peace. “
Bahrain has not met the culprits of his involvement and has not indicated who he has spoken to in Manama.

There was no popularity of the Israeli government’s flight, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke by phone with Bahrain’s Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa on Tuesday. Israel’s Foreign Ministry declined to comment.
The U. S. embassy in Manama responded to a request for comment.
The flight took place un ceremonially, unlike the first Israeli flight from El Al to the United Arab Emirates at the end of August. The plane dressed U. S. and Israeli officials, adding President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, as well as press reports.
Wednesday’s flight occurs when Israel has entered a blockade over the coronavirus pandemic. In Bahrain, civil society teams have criticized the resolution to normalize relations with Israel, saying that popularity will only take a stand after the Palestinians have received their own independent state.
Bahrain, an island off the coast of Saudi Arabia that houses the United States Navy’s Fifth Fleet and a British naval base, has a Shia-majority population headed by a Sunni royal family. The Arab Spring protests in 2011 ended with a crackdown on the government with that of Saudi and Emirati forces.
Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates signed standardization agreements with Israel at the White House on September 15 as a result of a U. S. diplomatic boost as Trump seeks re-election.
The United Arab Emirates and Israel temporarily explored industrial relations after their standardization agreement. In the past, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain had been quoted as saying that he believed that Arab countries would abandon their boycott of Israel.
