When a user tests positive for COVID-19 and wants to receive treatment, medical experts can order antiviral drugs like Paxlovid at a local pharmacy for pickup. Medications can also be sent to the patient’s home.
Study participants will get the kits, visits, and remedies for free.
Program officials said this style of telemedicine is almost entirely virtual, unlike when other people can be monitored at home, but would still have to move to a doctor in the user for a doctor or to get a prescription for treatment.

The Berks County pilot targets up to 8,000 residents.
Mina said he hopes to open the program to the rest of Pennsylvania and the U. S. U. S. within the next two weeks. He said he plans to implement flu tests and remedies at home soon.
