FDD: more than 10,400 Filipinos hire COVID-19; death toll now in 791

MANILA, Philippines – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported Sunday on new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) among Filipinos abroad, bringing the total number of infections to 10438.

Of the Filipinos inflamed abroad, 7,079 are in the Middle East and Africa; 1,372 are located in the Asia-Pacific region; 1,170 are in Europe and 808 in America.

As of September 27, there were 304,226 cases of COVID-19 in the Philippines, of which 46,372 are active cases, recoveries are 252,510 while the death toll is 5,344.
