Welcome to the November 2022 issue of Electric Vehicle (“EV”) Corporate News.

In November, global sales of plug-in electric cars for October 2022 reached the most productive month on record. As usual, it’s another busy month for EV news.

Global sales of plug-in electric cars ended October 2022 with 932,000 sales in the month (the second month ever), up 55% from October 2021, with a market share of 16% in October 2022 and 13% year-to-date.

Note: ~72% (not recently updated) of electric car sales so far this year are one hundred percent battery electric cars (BEVs), with the rest being hybrids.

Sales of plug-in electric cars in China were 578,000 sales in October 2022 (the most productive month on record), up 75% from October 2021 sales. The market share of electric cars in China in October 31% and 29% year-on-year-on-year.

Sales of plug-in electric cars in Europe stood at 211,000 in October 2022, up 14% year-on-year, achieving a market share of 23% and 21% so far this year. Norway achieved a percentage of 86. 4%, Sweden 59. 4%, the Netherlands 34%, Germany 32%, France 23% and the United Kingdom 21. 5% in October 2022.
