BRUSSELS – European Council President Charles Michel postponed a summit of bloc leaders scheduled for Thursday and Friday to October 1-2 when he went into quarantine for coronavirus after being in contact last week with a user tested for COVID. -19, his spokesman said.
The spokesperson also said that Michel himself had tested negative for COVID-19 on Monday, but that he followed regulations in Belgium, the headquarters of the EU establishments where summits of the leaders of the EU are taking place.
