In this regard, the Port Authority of Kuwait has signed a memorandum with the Public Industry Authority, which is the authority responsible for the development, promotion and supervision of commercial activity.
Sheikh Yusuf also explained that the port authority had contacted the Municipality of Kuwait to allocate (the Site of the Port Authority of Kuwait) as a commercial port in accordance with the third structural plan and outline the site spaces to allow ports to begin planning. design and structure procedures. It added that the port authority had seven projects indexed as a component of the 2035 progression plan projects, in a position to be launched, without the delay of mandatory approvals of relevant bodies similar to the auctions of state projects. Meanwhile, the Kuwait Association Project Authority (KAPP) has extended the deadline for submitting technical and monetary grants to provide advice for the two northern and third phase projects and the Khairan force plant (first phase) until July. 23.
