End of the state of emergency due to Covid-19 in Iran

In the statement, Iran’s Ministry of Health said it is no longer for everyone to wear a face mask as the Covid-19 state of emergency has ended according to an advisory instruction prepared through the National Scientific Committee on Covid-19.

The extra states that only the elderly, other people with underlying diseases and other people with number one immunodeficiency, kidney, heart, lung and liver diseases, as well as those who have been in direct contact with a suspected or permanently infected user with Covid -19 years, deserve to wear a mask.

“In addition, in the case of fitness centers in spaces where general or clustered transmission of Covid-19 has been reported, the use of a mask is for all people, adding staff and consumers of those centers,” the ministry said while noting that “however, in spaces where there is a definite threat of remote transmission, Mask wearing is only for staff who are in contact with patients. “
