DUBAI: Emirates has issued $1. 4 billion in refunds to consumers affected by COVID-19 restrictions, the Dubai-designed airline said in a statement.
More than 1. 4 million claims have been processed since March, representing 90% of Dubai’s airline’s order book.
This includes all applications obtained from consumers around the world until the end of June, with the exception of some cases requiring further manual review, Emirates said, has a greater ability to process refund requests.
