Forecasters are forecasting immediate weather fluctuations over the weekend, as Egypt will be exposed to a polar depression and thunderstorms.
Temperatures will reach a low of 11°C at night for the first time at this time of year in northern Upper Egypt.
Egypt’s meteorological authority said the volatile weather episode will begin on Thursday, with temperatures expected to reach 23°C in Cairo on the day accompanied by heavy rain, hail elsewhere in the north of the country and bloodless weather at night.
The warm autumn will triumph over Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the coasts of the northwest and the south of the country.
The weather will be bloodless overnight and very bloodless in central Sinai and the South Sinai Highlands.
Temperatures are expected to reach 27°C in Greater Cairo during the day and drop overnight to 17°C. Temperatures in the governorates of Lower Egypt and Alexandria will reach 27°C during the day and 18°C at night.
The temperature will increase in southern Upper Egypt, reaching 31 °C during the day and dropping at night to 17 °C.
The fog in the early morning hours is expected to cause decreased visibility on the roads.
There is fog in the central Sinai, Lower Egypt and the northern coasts.
Forecasters urged civilians to be careful and drive slowly until 8 a. m. because of fog, leave safe distances between cars to avoid injury and turn on car headlights.
Meteorologists also warned of low temperatures overnight and suggested citizens wear thick old-fashioned clothing in the afternoon and early morning.
The swell in the Mediterranean Sea will be mild to moderate and will have a height of between 1 and 1. 75 meters with surface winds from northeast to southeast.
The waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, varying between 1. 5 and 2 meters high with winds from northeast to northwest.
