Egypt on Sunday condemned the terrorist attack on the education ministry in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, that killed and wounded dozens of people.
The militant organization al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the two bomb blasts.
In a statement, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid expressed his condolences to the Somali government and others, as well as the families of the victims of the tragic incident, wishing a speedy recovery for all the injured.
The spokesperson reiterated Egypt’s condemnation of all heinous terrorist acts and called for efforts through the network to rally terrorism and cut off its funding resources.
