Ecuador surprised South America by claiming an automatic qualifying spot for Qatar
Ecuador has not won World Cup qualification only once. He did it twice: first on the court claiming a wonderful automatic spot in the South American qualifiers’ dogfight, and then back in the courtroom when he faced a legal challenge from Chile, which challenged the birth. Prestige of right-back Byron Castille. Al least, that’s what we think: Chile took its case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport where there is less than a month left before the World Cup.
Rather, the total issue overshadowed Ecuador’s impressive qualifying crusade and created significant uncertainty for La Tri. right back who played 8 qualifying matches, in fact Colombian and ineligible to play in the 8 matches of the group stage of Ecuador.
Anyway, Ecuador qualified for the World Cup when, on paper, it has not had any chance. According to the FIFA rankings, it was the team with the lowest ranking of the 10 South American countries at the beginning of its campaign. Through Argentine coach Gustavo Alfaro, they took trouble from Brazil and Argentina at home, beat Colombia 6-1 and beat Chile in Santiago to take a big step towards Qatar, although the biggest war they had to win came here after the World Cup. The draw for the cup was held in April and in court.
Ecuador Chile and Colombia for the qualification to Qatar
This is Ecuador’s fourth appearance at the World Cup, after losing to Russia last time and qualifying for 3 of the last 4 tournaments. They won a typical group. It would be wonderful to see them beat Holland or Senegal to qualify, but they can rejoice in the fact that neither is in the most sensible group of World Cup contenders, and a wonder is not out of place for a team that has thrived. as the loser. The highlight will be on them when they play the first match of the tournament against Qatar, where Ecuador hopes to speak again on the field.

Star – Moises Caicedo: The Brighton midfielder was once one of the escape talents of the Premier League season, but now the World Cup will allow the 20-year-old to showcase his fierce industry on a wider stage. Already Ecaudor’s top productive player despite his age, Caicedo played a central role in Brighton’s perfect start to the season with Graham Potter and soon connected with Manchester United after betting on their 2-1 win at Old Trafford in the opener. Weekend. Caicedo does a wonderful job of linking defence and attack into an action role, and may well be the next Brighton player to go through a hefty move fee. Strong performances at the World Cup for Ecuador, where I take on even more responsibility, I will also get on this.
Caicedo is the top player in Ecuador with only 20 years
Escape Ability – Piero Hincapie: Like Caicedo, 20-year-old Hincapie is another product of Independiente’s impressive academy formula that is now making its mark in Europe. Center with a forward foot that has compatibility to play on the left side of the defense. His play has drawn comparisons to Tottenham’s Argentine defender Cristian Romero and, indeed, Hincapié has been connected with Arsenal and Spurs this summer, but the pitch is a concern. Hincapie was sent off for receiving a momentary yellow card twice in the Bundesliga this season.
175/1
It would be foolish for Ecuador given their effects in South American qualifiers and they will enjoy being the underdogs when they face the Netherlands and Senegal. The order of their parties is interesting, given that they can put pressure on one of the Netherlands. or Senegal if they beat Qatar and get their first victory. You can also allow La Tri to play by draws, but they’ll want more than that to progress. Eliminated at the organization stage.
