Cuador retained his place at the 2022 World Cup, the Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled.
The South Americans were stripped of 3 problems in qualifying for the 2026 tournament after false data to download a passport for a player born in Colombia.
The CAS ruling comes 12 days before Ecuador faces Qatar in the opening match of the World Cup and ends the hopes of Chile and Peru, which had appealed to update their South American rivals.
Chile and Peru had argued that Ecuador had used an ineligible player in 8 qualifying matches and been expelled from the World Cup.
But CAS judges said Ecuadorian defender Byron Castillo is eligible under FIFA rules to participate in the qualification crusade and World Cup in Qatar.
However, the judges also said Castillo was born in Colombia and that false data about his date and position of birth were used to download an Ecuadorian passport.
CAS fined the Ecuadorian federation 100,000 Swiss francs (£88,000) and ordered the deduction of 3 issues in the South American qualifying organization for the 2026 World Cup.
