According to the Small Arms Survey, which analyzes gun knowledge from 230 countries around the world, there are more than 393 million civilian-owned firearms in the United States. The Washington Post’s investigation concluded that this figure represents a gigantic enough arsenal that “every man, woman and child has one and still has 67 million guns left. “With about 120. 5 guns per 100 people, the U. S. has twice the ratio of Yemen, the second-largest country on the list, where there are about 52. 8 guns per 100 people.
