Another 10,823 companies used at least some telecommuting for some workers those months, representing about 9. 4% of companies.

Before COVID hit, about 201,691 Louisiana employees worked in corporations that worked remotely to some extent, ranking 35th. About 13. 6 percent of Louisiana’s private-sector staff worked at a telecommuting company, which ranked 50th.
