Daily inspection visits are made to the emirate, officials confirmed
A place to eat in Dubai has been closed after violating the Covid-19 in the emirate.
The Satwa dining spot closed Thursday after its loose food distribution led passers-by to meet outside the store, ignoring physical distance rules and causing traffic jams, Dubai’s commercial compliance and customer coverage (CCCP) sector said.
In the incident, Dubai Economy, in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council, fined a gym for not respecting the physical distance, that is, at its reception, and the lack of commitment of workers to wear masks.

Officials said box inspections were conducted on a normal basis to ensure that all businesses, traders, consumers and the public adhere to the precautionary measures and protocols announced in Dubai to restrict the spread of Covid-19, adding physical distance, masked dresses and gloves and disinfection.
The CCCP inspection runs through all areas of Dubai, adding open markets and grocery shopping centers. Thursday’s inspections showed that 578 outlets were fully complying with precautionary measures and guidelines.
Dubai Economy reiterated that any excess or non-compliance that poses a threat or damage to any of them will be treated “firmly and in accordance with established procedures”.
It also asked consumers to report non-compliance with the Dubai Consumer app by calling 600545555 or on the Consumerrights. ae.
