SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic – Arajet, the Dominican Republic’s new budget airline, has officially unveiled operations in the skies of the Caribbean, leading the renaissance of Dominican aviation with a hub in Santo Domingo. Arajet will build a strong management network from 22 destinations in 12 countries in the coming months, proudly flying the Dominican flag and providing customer-centric service across the continent.
After two days of successful operations on September 15 and 16 with flights to Barranquilla and Cali in Colombia and Aruba, Arajet marked its first official flight to San Salvador in El Salvador, on an occasion hosted by Mr. Arajet. In October, Arajet will load routes to Curacao, San Jose in Costa Rica, Quito and Guayaquil in Ecuador, Medellin and Bogota in Colombia as destinations in North America.
