MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Health (DOH) on Tuesday unveiled the “PinasLakas” program, which aimed to deliver COVID-19 booster vaccines to at least 23 million people or 50 percent of the eligible population President Ferdinand’s first hundred days in the Marcos Jr. administration.

(We will make loose and booster injections more available through a parameter-based technique for vaccination. )
A parameter-based approach, he explained, would allow the government to vaccinate the public within their communities.
With this, vaccination will take a position in jobs, factories, schools, churches, markets, squares, food purchases and even boarding terminals.
“We will bring vaccines to our people,” Vergeire said.
According to data released by the DOH on Monday, people who were fully vaccinated are now 71,546,355 (91. 61% of the target population), while people who received boosters total 15,934,251.
Adults can receive a COVID-19 booster vaccine at least 3 months after their first dose or two months after receiving a single-dose vaccine.
They can then reap benefits from loose reinforcement at least five months after the initial injection, while immunocompromised young people older than 12 to 17 years can get a booster after 28 days.
Meanwhile, fitness workers, the elderly, and other immunocompromised individuals can already reap benefits from their instant booster at least 4 months after their first booster dose.
