It is not known how Uceta violated the protocols, only the data he suspended and sent home to the Dominican Republic. As Castillo points out, the pitcher placed on the disabled list at the start of summer camp in July and the club was silent about his condition.
Uceta signed with the Dodgers as a foreign free agent on July 2, 2016. In 4 years in the system, the 22-year-old has a 20-12 record with 3.73 MPM in 331.0 innings pitched in 76 games (66 starts). . He invited major league camp as a non-aligned guest this year and pitched three blank innings in two emergency exits.
