Citizens and tourists from the United Arab Emirates arriving from certain countries will now have to go through two RT-PCR Covid-19 tests before arriving in Dubai, as shown by the United Arab Emirates on Monday (October 26).

Residents and tourists are now required to make a pre-departure with a validity of 96 hours from the date of the Array and a moment upon arrival in Dubai. Although this has been convenient at the airport since August, the airline has now published a list of countries where two RT-PCRs have been made mandatory, one before departure and one in Dubai.

Passengers from India, Pakistan or Bangladesh must download their certificate at one of the laboratories indexed in the laboratory document designated to be accepted on the flight.

“If you write a check at the airport, you will need to stay at your hotel or apartment until you get the check result. If the result of the checkup is positive, you will want to isolate yourself and stick to the rules of the Dubai Health Authority,” the airline said.

In addition, tourists on the country list had the opportunity to provide a negative COvid19 PCR verification certificate valid for 96 hours from the date of verification prior to departure or to pass Covid19 PCR verification upon arrival in Dubai.

Emirates has also made it mandatory for all passengers arriving in Dubai to bring published copies of their check results, in English or Arabic, at check-in. “Text messages and virtual certificates are accepted,” the airline said.

Regulations for passengers in transit have also been replaced.

Emirates has also revised its regulations for passengers in transit from certain countries, where they must have a negative COvid19 PCR verification certificate valid for 96 hours from the date of verification, as well as all needs relating to their final destination.
