Disneyland Paris to back up as France enters national blockade

It’s a COVID world, after all.

Disneyland Paris will close its doors again, while France imposes a month-long blockade to stem a strong wave of new COVID-19 cases.

“According to [the] most recent directive of the French authorities, Disneyland Paris will close [at the end of the day] on October 29,” the giant entertainment station said Thursday on its online page.

The park hopes to reopen in time for the holiday season.

“We will accept reservations from December 19 to January 3 and look forward to being open based on existing situations and government standards at the time,” he said.

All Disney parks around the world were forced to close earlier in the spring, when new coroavirus infections exploded in Europe, Asia and America.

After a few days of restricting the capacity of some attractions and restaurants, and postponing the parades, Disneyland Paris announced that it would close all its doors on March 30.

It did not start its slow reopening until more than 3 months later, on July 15, with a “deliberate protection technique, with improved fitness and protection measures implemented” for and guests.

Since then, the stage across Europe has deteriorated and several countries have been forced to take action, once again, in the hope of controlling a relentless resurgence of the virus.

On Wednesday, President Emmanuel Macron announced a momentary national unemployment, which is expected to last at least until the end of the month.

“We are overcome by the sudden acceleration of the virus,” he said in a televised speech, adding that the country “overcate a wave of moments. “

The new strict measures come with the closure of restaurants, bars and non-essential businesses. Schools, factories and structure sites can still open, but the government encourages painters to paint remotely if possible.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel also announced wednesday that Germany would close from 2 November.

“We are in a very serious situation,” Merkel said at a press conference. “We will have to act, and now, to avoid a serious national fitness emergency,” he warned.
